Neck Knives and Patch Knives

Neck or patch knives have a long history. The equivalent of the pocket knife for many mountain men and trappers, it can be a very handy knife to have on you.

Generally the blades are very short, with handles that are designed to be short, but usable and secure.

Most of the neck knives I make are done for tip down- handle up- carry. I don't often care for the inverted carry ones I've seen.

As much jewelry as knife for some, neckers can be as plain as you like, or extremely fancy.
